Common faults
Apple Watch failures cluster into a few patterns. Tell us which one matches, and whether the watch was dropped or exposed to water.

A screen that is lifting at one edge is often a swollen battery rather than a knock. Stop wearing it and bring it in, because a swollen cell should not be left in place.
Screen and seal
An Apple Watch display is bonded to the case and sits behind an adhesive seal. Opening one is not like opening a phone: the seal that keeps water out has to be disturbed to reach anything inside, and it has to be restored afterwards.
That matters for two reasons. The work is finer and slower than it looks for such a small device, and the water resistance the watch left the factory with is not something any independent repair can certify afterwards. We explain both before you decide.
Battery and charging
A watch that no longer lasts the day is usually a battery that has aged, but not always. Charging faults can sit in the charging circuit, in the contacts, or in the charger and cable rather than the watch.
We check the simple causes before recommending anything be opened. If the charger turns out to be the fault, that is what we will tell you.
Water resistance after a repair
This is the part most often glossed over elsewhere, so we will be direct about it.
Once a watch has been opened, its original water resistance rating no longer applies. We restore the seal as carefully as the work allows, but no independent repair can test or certify a device back to its factory rating. Treat a repaired watch as not water resistant, and keep it away from swimming and the sea.
If your watch is still under Apple warranty or AppleCare, an independent repair may affect that cover. Check your own position before deciding where to have it repaired.
What we cannot promise
- Restored factory water resistance after any opening
- Parts availability for every Watch generation
- Repair of a case that is cracked or physically deformed
- An economical repair on older models where the part cost approaches the watch value
Where a repair is not sensible, we say so rather than quoting for it. Apple Watch is the category where that conversation happens most often, because the parts are expensive relative to the device.
Price and warranty
We do not publish a starting figure for Apple Watch. The spread between models and between a battery and a bonded display is wide enough that any single number would mislead you more than it helps.
The initial check is free, and the total is confirmed after inspection and before you approve the work. Send your model and a photo on WhatsApp and we can tell you what is likely before you travel.
The 30-day written warranty covers the specific work listed on your repair invoice, subject to the warranty terms and exclusions. Water-related faults after an opening are excluded, for the reason set out above.

Do you replace Apple Watch screens?
We assess them. The display is bonded to the case and sits behind a water seal, so what is realistic depends on the model, parts availability and whether the case itself is damaged. We tell you after inspecting it, not before.
How much does an Apple Watch repair cost?
We do not publish a starting price, because the range across models and fault types is too wide for one figure to be honest. The initial check is free and you get a confirmed total before approving anything.
