Start with what you see

Not every black screen needs replacing.

Cracked glass, black patches or coloured lines
Tell us whether the MacBook was dropped, the lid was pressed or something was caught when closing it. We inspect the panel and surrounding assembly to establish the damage.
Flickering or an image that changes as the lid moves
Describe when it happens. The display cable, connections and hinges are checked alongside the panel before a replacement is recommended.
A completely black display
We distinguish a display fault from a MacBook that is not powering on. Bring the charger if charging or startup is also unreliable. Power or logic board faults may need a different repair.

We assess both MacBook Air and MacBook Pro screens. Share the model, year and screen size if you know them. Similar-looking MacBooks can use different parts; compatibility and stock must be confirmed for your exact device.

If you are unsure, bring the MacBook and we will help identify it. You do not need to share a full serial number publicly.

What will be replaced?

We check the panel, display cable, hinges, camera and related connections. If the display assembly needs replacement, we explain the compatible option and any functional limitations before you approve it. We do not assume that every screen symptom requires a complete assembly.

Which part option should I choose?

Ask the team to explain the source and condition of the proposed part, its compatibility, appearance and warranty coverage. Available options vary by model. The agreed part and total price are confirmed before work begins.

This is not a fixed price for every Air or Pro. The model, year, display size, available part option and any additional damage determine the total. We explain additional work separately and ask for approval before proceeding.

How long does it take?

Same-day replacement may be possible when the correct part is in stock and the diagnosis allows it. If a part needs to be ordered, we confirm the lead time separately. Contact us before visiting if you have a flight or work deadline; a booked visit is not a guaranteed completion time.

The starting guide above applies to selected models only, not every model below. We check compatible parts and availability for your device. An estimate is not a fixed quote; the final total is confirmed after inspection and before you approve the work.

From first check to final test.

  1. Tell us what happened

    Send the model and a short description of the screen issue. A photo can help; avoid showing private files. Back up your data if the MacBook is usable, and do not send passwords through WhatsApp.

  2. Inspect and approve

    We diagnose the fault, explain compatible parts, price and timing, then wait for your approval. If inspection reveals another issue, additional work is discussed separately.

  3. Replace and check

    When replacement is needed, the damaged display is removed while the working lower case is protected. We check the repaired display and relevant camera, sleep/wake, charging, audio and input functions before collection.

Fixmara repair work includes a 30-day written warranty, subject to its coverage and exclusions. Keep your service receipt and ask the team to explain coverage for the part and work you approve.

Can you replace a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro screen?

We accept Air and Pro display assessments. Replacement depends on confirming the exact model, compatible part and availability. Send the year and screen size if known so the team can advise before you travel.

Does every screen replacement cost Rp2,500,000?

No. That is a starting guide for selected models. Your exact display, part option and any additional damage determine the quote. You approve the total before repair starts.

Can you replace only the glass?

The appropriate repair depends on the display construction and damage. We inspect the device and explain whether a compatible display assembly or another repair is required; glass-only replacement is not promised for every model.

Will replacing the screen erase my files?

Screen replacement is not intended to erase data, but data on a damaged device cannot be guaranteed. Back up your files beforehand if possible. Any access required for testing is discussed with you; do not share passwords or work files in chat.

Can I collect my MacBook on the same day?

It may be possible if the correct part is available and the inspection permits it. We confirm a realistic estimate for your device before you approve the work. Ordered parts or additional faults can take longer.

Is Fixmara an Apple authorised repair centre?

No. Fixmara is an independent repair business, formerly iAm Store Bali. We are not an Apple Authorized Service Provider and are not affiliated with Apple Inc. We explain available part options and our own repair warranty before approval.
